The Women Directors in Malta is looking for an Office Manager to join the organisation and to assist in the implementation of projects and initiatives. The Office Manager will be responsible for a variety of administrative and other tasks providing support where needed to the organisation. This is a part-time position requiring an average of 5 hours a week with the opportunity for both a flexible schedule and to work virtually and remotely. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Handles the organisation’s emails and database entry and other administrative work as assigned.
  • Manages and responds to incoming inquires related to the ongoing projects of the organisation.
  • Assists with the scheduling of Board meetings and other events and distributes Board and Committee meeting logistics and materials.
  • Is responsible for filing and maintaining virtual office documents.
  • Researches EU funding projects that match the organisation’s objectives.
  • Assists with the reporting and monitoring of ongoing projects.
  • Manages and processes invoices, reimbursements and related documents according to project requirements.
  EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience working in a corporate or nonprofit work environment in an administrative position combined with complementary education is preferred.
  • English proficiency is a must.
  • Ability to handle different tasks.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Positive and open-minded work attitude, both for team and independent work.
  The following skills would be highly valued:
  • Some initial experience working with EU projects.
  • Social and digital media skills for marketing purposes.
